Be a 24/7 Christian by Wade Akins

March 21

About the Book

Missionary strategist teaches how to live under Christ’s Lordship.

What does a life lived unalterably under Christ’s Lordship look like? What is required of someone who is driven to his or her very core with a consuming passion to see people saved?

From the piney woods of northern Louisiana through the jungles of Vietnam and Brazil and to most of the nations of the world, missionary strategist and evangelist Wade Akins has followed Christ’s marching orders to thoroughly abandon self and obey Him whatever the cost.

In his practical, stirring blueprint for how to yield one’s self totally to Christ, this intrepid firebrand weaves his own, powerful story around tales of ordinary, spirit-filled men and women throughout the globe who daily strive to crown Jesus as Lord in every area of their walk.

This Mom’s Review of “Be a 24/7 Christian”:

I think I was expecting a to do list for how to live like a Christian around the clock.

Instead, I got a book that changed how I look at the Christian life and how I should be living as a representative of Christ.  I didn’t get a lecture.  Instead I found biblical sound teaching that can be implement.  The book has prompted some change for the reader — me.

The author shares his experiences as a missionary and ties them into the regular ol’ Christian’s life.   It would be a great resource for a new believer, as well as for a believer that has gotten off track.

This is a book I want a close family member of mine to read.  This family member was saved in her earlier years, but has not given her daily life to Christ for many years now.

I received a free copy of the book from Hannibal Books. The book can be purchased here {affiliate link} or your local bookstore.

Actually, the Hannibal book that I want to read the most is this one! I’ve heard a lot about it from friends and other church members and have been meaning to get my hands on a copy!
