31 Days to a Better Life: Living Life on Purpose

October 1

Are you living a life on purpose or just going through the motions?  Is everything you do with great intention or do you find yourself wanting a better life?  It’s so easy to fall into the daily grind of doing whatever is thrown at you…whatever calls your name the loudest.

Let’s change that.  I know I need a change.  I want to be more intentional with all I do.  A few blogging friends and I have joined the 31 Day Challenge and will be presenting to you 31 Days to a Better Life: Living Life on Purpose.  {Subscribe here.}

31 Days Living Life on Purpose - This Mom's Delight

Today is Day One. Your tip for living life on purpose is to come back each day (or subscribe)!  I will be writing 8 of those 31 days with the focus on, but not limited to, working moms.

8 Purposeful Tips for the Working Mom

As a working mom, you have it rough.  You are expected to be the best at everything you do.   You’re expected to be all mom, all employee and maybe even all wife, all without letting one role interfere with the other. It’s not realistic.  You can’t be everything to everyone, nor can you be everywhere doing everything at any given time.  However, you can choose be the best your human-self will allow.

Stay-at-home and work-at-home moms can benefit from the tips, too!  I’d love for you to chime in, leaving your questions, suggestions and/or personal experience for each of these tips.  While I am a working mom, I don’t have all the answers. I face the struggles, dilemmas, anxiety, fears and time restraints many of you face.  I’m  here to encourage you and hopefully to receive some encouragement in return.

What’s your struggle as a working {or busy} mom?  Leave a comment here.  If it’s not something I have covered in my eight days, I’ll definitely cover it in an follow-up post, or right here in the comments.

    I think what you are doing is wonderful! I have never tried Cleansing before and I’m half afraid to give it a go! Since my Husband’s illness and scare with cancer (all biopsies even after the surgery came back free & clear) I’ve been trying to get him to eat better! It’s not easy with him! He would live off of ground meat the rest of his life if he could! I’ve been purchasing the butter without salt (hoping he doesn’t notice) and instead of koolaid that he loves to consume every single day, I’ve bought Cranberry Juice with Pomegranite in it (all natural) I’ve tried to purchase the 90% leaner ground meat and also trying other dishes with Pork and turkey! I’m slowly working into “better for us” food around here! I really enjoyed reading what you guys are doing and I surely hope that after the 31 days you will let us know how all of you have done! Thanks so much! Michele 🙂

      Fit living has been on my to do list, but hasn’t been on my priority list. Maybe one day soon.
