This Mom’s Review:
I have always considered both my husband and myself to be controlling to a certain degree. Yet, I saw myself as the one who would cave to let him have his way (more than the other way around). Then I read this book. Control issues are affecting my life in ways I did not know. Who knew that some emotions I have are because of this sin … yes, sin. I can see myself in three of the seven women portrayed in this study. I have highlighted a lot of the book that relates to where I am now (controlling) and where I’d like to be (surrendering).
God is good and I’m glad he has pointed out some ways that need correction through this book and the Scripture study. You will want to dig out your Bible for this one.
