While my son is already four, I am just now teaching him about God’s love for him. The book mentioned below, and received complimentary from FrontGate Media, is a great resource to remind him of that very thing. It also reflects on the relationship between him and his daddy.
Daddy doesn’t read books. It is hard on mommy, but that’s just the facts. Still, yet, my son needs to read stories about daddy and son relationships. So, mommy reads them to him. This one is my favorite of all the daddy/son books we’ve read together.
My little guy loves books and this one really has his attention. It is a board book with beautifully illustrated pages. Each page consists of only a sentence or two which is perfect for my little guy’s attention span. The words are also big enough we can go through the book a second time and do letter hunts and other games that encourage his learning. There’s is a book for mommy and child, too!
