Reviewing: Lady Jayne Disappears
I enjoyed the complimentary copy I received!

I am now a fan of mystery! I have always enjoyed reading historical romance, specifically Christian. Yet, the one I received a complimentary copy of titled Lady Jayne Disappears has some mystery in it. Oh, each and every chapter, I was in suspense over who was responsible for what was had happened. My favorite character is definitely, Aurelie, the one telling the story. Her character was one to be admired. I enjoyed the story written around a writer and all the secrets the writer held onto.

I am definitely a new fan of Joanna Davidson Politano.

About the Book

Lynhurst Manor is a house built on secrets . . . and the arrival of Aurelie Harcourt might reveal them all.

When Aurelie Harcourt’s father dies suddenly, he leaves her just two things: his famous pen name, Nathaniel Droll, and his wealthy family–who want very little to do with her.

As Aurelie struggles to find a home with her father’s family and learn the rules of society, she relishes in his parting gift–the beginning of his last story. The story she always wanted to hear, about her mother’s mysterious disappearance from the home where she now lives. To complete the novel, she’ll have to extract clues from relatives–and one enigmatic houseguest–who often seem reluctant to give them up.

“Emotional. Intriguing. Both haunting and romantic. . . . In her historical fiction debut, Joanna Davidson Politano delivers a smart plot that navigates twists and turns with a mixture of wit, intelligent characters, and a refreshingly original voice. Reminiscent of Dickens’s classic storytelling, Lady Jayne Disappears is a debut to remember!”–Kristy Cambron, bestselling author of The Illusionist’s Apprentice and The Hidden Masterpiece series

“Wonderfully unique, this compelling debut grabs you from the first intriguing line. The evocative English setting, textured characters, literary theme, and unusual romance make Lady Jayne Disappears a standout, the lovely cover offering a hint of the gem within. A must read!”Laura Frantz, author of A Moonbow Night
