I took some time away from the link up to focus on my son and our transition ‘together at home’. Now I’m back! I’m learning that life with a preschooler at home will never allow for a tight schedule. Needs and mishaps occur on a daily basis. That’s okay though. I’m learning to go with it.
Before you jump into the linkup, I’d like for you to enter my giveaway for two women’s Bible studies: An Unexplainable Life by Erica Wiggenhorn and I Am Found by Laura Dingman.
Now on to our weekly Literacy Musing Monday’s linkup where we link up posts about what inspires you in reading, writing, blogging, and even share our written Bible devotions.

Now let’s celebrate family-friendly reading and learning.
Last Week’s Top Clicked Post!
Looking for ideas for fun fall activities. This post at Our Unschooling Journey has some great ideas.
My Favorite Post of the Week:
I told my family that the little guy was not to be handed a tablet or put in front of the t.v. just to keep him busy. Yet, he has had so much screen time this summer that I am not happy. Sadly, I am at fault, too. I know with the fall & winter months approaching, all we will want to do is cuddle up on the couch, drink hot chocolate and binge watch a new series on Netlix. But deep down, I know I need to keep my little guy busy with books and meaningful activities … yeah physical activity.
My favorite post this week is 101 Screen-Free Fall Activity Ideas
because it is the solution for this fall.
While reading is on there, there is so much more to do, both inside and outside. It’ll also help the hubs and I stay active.
I challenge you to choose three things from the list that you will do with your kiddos this fall. My three things are: go bowling, make a bird feeder and, of course, read lots of books.
