What are your goals for May? How are you measuring up to your goals for 2015?
I have been so busy with putting out fires and the daily grind that my goals have been neglected. I want to get back on track. I didn’t set out goals for each month at the beginning of the year. I did make a list, but it wasn’t enough to keep me on track. I will being joining some other bloggers to share and meet our goals each month.
It is most important that I seek out to live a life that I absolutely love instead of doing what others expect of me. With that in mind, here are my goals for May 2015.
Personal Goal: Replace my daily mega dose of caffeinated sugary pop with good ol’ water.
I think I’m about ready to chunk my all day bad habit of drinking pop. I have been drinking some water but haven’t given it up altogether. There are plenty of reasons to do this, so it’s going on my list of goals for May.
Family Goal: Replace my toddler’s diet with less gluten and more DHA and healthy fats.
I’ve been researching the reasons children develop apraxia in order to better help my son overcome this challenge he’s facing. More on this later.
Blogging Goal: Publish 10 blog posts.
I’ve neglected my blog a lot lately. It seems all I have time for is the Literacy Musing Mondays link up. I love to write. I have so much I want to write about. Yet, time is an issue. I have many drafts started. Yet, perfection is also an issue. I want to perfect my posts which keeps me from hitting that publish button. I am committing to publishing ten posts, perfect or not, this month.
These may not seem like much, but maybe you can relate to the busy life of a wife and mom of three working outside the home full-time and inside the home part-time who craves a little bit of time to write, read and nap!
As far as my yearly recap, I’m skipping that until next month. I don’t have much to share since January was the only month that I had any goals.
