Pile of Books Reading Challenge {October}

October 10

Do you remember that Pile of Books reading challenge I brought you last month? Did you accept? Did you read the book(s) you decided on?

I spent a great deal of September enjoying time with my little one.  Being almost two, he didn’t allow me much reading time, unless of course, we were reading one of his books.

God Gave Us Love - Book for Toddlers

What’s your child’s favorite book?

So, you can calculate that I did not read the five books I chose for the month of September.  So, what now? They are staying in my reading pile, to be read in October, as time the little one allows, of course.

The books in my reading pile are:

15 Minutes Alone with God by Emilie Barnes

31 Days to a Happy Husband:  What a Man Needs Most from His Wife

Hands Free Mama:  A Guide to Putting Down the Phone, Burning the To-Do List, and Letting Go of Perfection to Grasp What Matters

The 21 Day Fix (A BeachBody Publication)

The Bootstrap VA: The Go-Getter’s Guide to Becoming a Virtual Assistant, Getting and Keeping Clients, and More – I have started reading this one, but am going at it slow, because I want to apply what I’m learning as I read it.

Here’s why I chose these books.

    I don’t have any books on my personal reading list (a lot of articles though.) However, I am reading at least 3 books a night to my children. We are doing the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten. https://1000booksbeforekindergarten.org/ It’s just something I saw online and am doing myself, but it keeps me on track so we don’t skip a night of reading.

    The 31 Days to a Happy Husband sounds like a great book to check out. I think I’ll add that to my list!
