Very few books reach my favorites list. However, I recently added a non-fiction book to that list. A week later I am adding this one. Give me a well-written book about books and you have sold me! No, it honestly takes more than that but that’s a terrific start, Roseanna! (She’s the author of the book I received a complimentary copy of. You can read about it below.)

Within the pages of this book, I was taken on an adventure filled with deception (by necessary means, it seems) by one character and the naivety of another. Seeing these people from very different classes being brought under one roof for the intent of a job (or two) to be done.
While fiction, the author reminds all of us how Jesus’ love is for everyone, not just the so-called ‘good’ person. I enjoyed seeing this truth play out in the story. I also enjoyed the ending, although one part was not expected. Rosemary is my favorite character in this story, followed closely by Mrs. Teague. After you read the book, you may not agree with me on the latter. Mrs. Teague reminds me of myself, having let hardness take over my heart at one point in time.
The book is so good I told my friend about it. Yet, I didn’t loan it to her because I don’t want to let go of my copy. (Is that bad of me?) I may just have to buy her a copy, instead. I can’t wait to get my hands on the author’s other books.
