It’s hard for me to sit down and soak in God’s Word at times. I want to rush through and not really listen to what He’s saying. Being so busy is to blame for that. Reading Joanne Weaver’s latest devotional At The Feet of Jesus, I’ve managed to slow down and actually hear what both God and the author are saying as I read the Scripture and the devotional provided for each day.
I think the best part of the daily devotions is the REFLECT questions. It causes me to think about what I just read and how it can be applied to me personally.
The devotional is a collection of bits and pieces from a few of Joanne’s other books turned into devotions. I would like to read those books now!
