Busy mom?
You’ve got that right! Sometimes my head seems to be spinning, as I try to multi-task laundry, my family’s needs, the day job, church, housework, and everything else a busy mom has to do. By the way, I do not multi-task very well.
Lately, my morning quiet time with my Savior has dwindled. I feel like I can get in a good study, so why bother? That’s not a good response, is it? I need that daily time with Him. I can handle things, big and little, if I’ve started my day by giving it to Him.
I’ve had the chance to review a Bible. It’s called the Busy Mom’s Bible. Hmmmm….
I like love the color of the Bible’s cover. It’s two shades of pink with a stripe down the middle. I like pink!
Although my preferred Bible is a KJV, this NIV bible is still a good study choice. It can be used as a commentary for my Bible study.
What I like best about the BMB are the colorful “10-minute Studies” found throughout the Bible on topics that a busy mom needs to read for encouragement and direction. If you have more than 10-minutes, then you’ll find an additional 5-minute “Reflect & Pray” with each study. Also included are 5-minute “Reading Plans” about Jesus and about women of the Bible. I can’t wait to get started reading!
