Some rules have changed since I was in school, at least from what I remember. Some have been relaxed, giving a writer more than one option — such as the comma before the word ‘and’ when naming more that two nouns, etc.
When writing, it is suggested that interrobang is to be used only between friends. Don’t know what that is? –Look it up! It’s something I use in my writing.
I use exclamation marks frequently. I guess I’m easily excited when I’m sharing something. Do you think my writing could use less excitement???
