Favorite Book Series Made Into a Movie

Which book {series} would you like to see made into a movie?

My favorite book series of all time is by Liz Curtis Higgs. She writes about a woman who is devoted to her straying husband. It goes beyond that though. It follows this woman as life has big changes for her. My heart broke for her for all that she had to endure. Yet, I found myself admiring her for her strength. It’s two books and after I got through reading the first book, I was highly anticipating the next book. I did not like the waiting. If you are enjoy historical fiction, you will enjoy these two books. They could be made into either a movie or a television mini-series. They were thicker books packed with relationship woes, wars and beautiful scenery that I’d love to see outside my own imagination. I highly doubt that either the movie or television mini-series would be as grand as the books, but I’m open to letting them try.

About the Books and Author

Here Burns My Candle

A timeless story of love and betrayal, loss and redemption, flickering against the vivid backdrop of eighteenth-century Scotland, Here Burns My Candle illumines the dark side of human nature, even as hope, the brightest of tapers, lights the way home.

Mine Is The Night

The emotional and spiritual journey that began with Here Burns My Candle soars to a triumphant finish in Mine Is the Night, a dramatic and decidedly Scottish retelling of the biblical love story of Boaz and Ruth.

Be sure to read my reviews for each book.

I would love to see the Stephanie Plum series as a TV or movie series. I know they made a movie of of the 1st book – One For The Money. That entire book series is awesome – fast and easy reads that make you laugh 🙂
