This book reminds me of the Scripture 1 John 1:9,10.
“We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”
This is story perfectly suited for youngsters, as it is a short story about polar bears and otters that reminds all of us, the adult included, that God loves us and we should love others even when we don’t feel like it.
The board book is sturdy enough for use in my Sunday School classroom on a Sunday I teach about God’s love.
What a cute book! I have read at least one of Lisa Bergren’s books with my kids before and it was a good story and good pictures. This one looks good too. It would be perfect for my one year old.
