Homeschooling with Minno Kids

You’ll usually find me with a book in hand. We use a lot of books for homeschooling, but my son doesn’t share my obsession for reading. He enjoys screens. He enjoys learning things on YouTube. Unfortunately, he’s watched a few things I don’t approve of and I can’t always sit with him to discuss the topics that need to be addressed.

Then some days, I am just worn out. Motherhood is exhausting. Top it off with a health issue, and you’ll find yourself allowing those screens.

So what’s the solution to keep the kiddo learning and give mom a chance to rest?

Minno Kids

Minno Kids is a streaming app for families where Jesus matters. I like that. We get busy and sometimes that leaves Jesus out of the equation. While living the Christian life is key, our kids can learn quality character and good habits in the kids they watch on Minno Kids. It’s a wonderful resource to disciple your kids with faith-filled shows.

It’s a growing library of shows, movies and devotionals – all content you can trust. I do!

Oh, and there are no ads! That means, no kids coming to you asking for the new must-have and high-priced toy. There’s savings there.

Minno Kids is fun for the kids and grandkids and a wonderful resource for both homeschooling and entertainment.

Our Favorite Shows on Minno Kids:

The Nature of God – This one counts for Science. We watch one together each week, then discuss what he found most interesting.

Yancy’s Rock and Worship – We get in Music and Scripture Memory with this one.

The Torchlighters – This one counts for History. These are biographies of real Christians in history.

Micah’s Super Vlog! This one features kids close to my son’s age, so it’s a favorite of his.

60-Second Bible Stories

Carlos Caterpillar – This is the first series my son and I watched.

Bibleman Animated Adventure – A superhero who lives by Scripture

60-Second Bible Stories and What’s in The Bible – While we aim to read directly from the Bible as part of our day, my son also enjoys these Bible stories from Genesis to Revelations.

VeggieTales and Owlegories – These are suitable for my toddler and preschool-aged grandkids. We watch and episode or two when they visit.

There are also shows that would cover Art and Physical Education that look like good options.

Minno Kids is suitable and fun entertainment for all ages of childhood.
