This Mom’s Review
The author’s goal for you, the reader, is a transformation as your confidence in prayer to God grows. She also wants your faith to be strengthened as you witness God at work. As I read the complimentary copy of this book, I see how this transformation is possible and I am excited about it. The contents of the book includes four ways a woman of God should pray:
1: She prays with understanding
2: She prays with knowledge
3: She prays with trust
4: She prays with power.
Her advice to keep dreaming and hoping encouraged me as I have often convinced myself that I wasn’t worthy of going after my dreams. She says that God might just be “planning to combine your dream and his will for a purpose far greater than you could ever imagine.” Wow! I love it. Looking at how God has taken me from payroll public school momma to homeschool mompreneur is actually proof of that very statement. Reading about God transforming the author’s desire to adopt into something greater has me in awe.
She also reminded me that I need to slow down and be still, as God works commands each of us. My favorite quote is short yet meaningful:
“Praise isn’t always, easy, but it is powerful.”
This is a beautiful book and is just what I need in this stage of less-than-confident parenting. Let me know what you think of the book once you start reading it.
