About the Book: 100 Ways to Love Your Husband
Couples with great marriages know one simple truth: the best marriages are made up of many everyday decisions that say, “I love you” rather than those that say, “I love me.” When we put the other person first, even in little ways, we find true fulfillment.

Maybe you have made some mistakes along the way and are struggling to connect. Or maybe you want your marriage to go from good to great. Wherever you currently are in your relationship, let Lisa Jacobson help you learn how to love your husband well.

This Mom’s Review of “100 Ways to Love Your Husband”
“Love your husband” is a big task, even after 24 years of marriage. Never will I have this thing called marriage perfected, but we can make improvements along the way, right? In the courtesy copy I received from the publisher, I have found 100 ways to improve upon my marriage. Well, not 100 exactly because my marriage is actually thriving in a few of these areas. Just a few, though. So, how do you love your husband?
The 100 ways the author gives you (and me) to love are simple, yet powerful, as the subtitle of the book implies. Each one is bite-size, providing you a pathway to building a loving marriage a little at a time simply by doing things that reflect that you love your husband.
“Do him good” is #45 and as simple as it sounds, it is a difficult one for me. Yet, it’s straight from God’s word, so here I am on day #45 working on just that! I made a list of ways I can do my husband good, starting with the simple things he likes, like a smile from his wife when he gets home from work.
“Make HIS priorities your own” is one I’ve worked on as I learned to love football and sci-fi movies. There are other areas I could bend a bit to spend more quality time with him.
I encourage every wife, whether new or seasoned, to pick up a copy of this book. It is a great resource to read a little over time, implementing one tip per day or week in your marriage. The pieces of advice within this book that I had implemented over the years prior to reading the book have led to better communication or growth in some sort in my marriage. Even if some of the tips are things that are common sense to you, it is great to be reminded of the things we get let slip because we are living hurried and sometimes selfish lives. Only saying it because I’m describing myself here.
I’d love to know what you think of the book once you start reading it. How are you doing? Do you love your husband? Does he know it?
