What Your Son Isn't Telling You

My son is getting closer and closer to adulthood.  He became an teenager last November.  I felt nauseated when he brought home the enrollment form for junior high a few months ago.  Then, two days ago, he graduated from the 6th grade.

Mommy isn’t liking this!

I recently received information in my inbox about a book titled “What Your Son Isn’t Telling You”.  Oh my!  I’m paranoid enough.  Do I dare read it, I asked myself.  I already worry about enough!

I chose to read it, and I’m glad I did!  Instead of being frightened even more about my son’s future, I have been given some needed insight about what my son is and could be dealing with as a teenager.

Book Summary:

Keys to Understanding Your Son’s Heart and Mind

Your son struggles with the constant pressure to prove himself–in the classroom, on the playing field, and especially among his friends. And while he may put up a tough exterior, deep inside he hungers for family support and connection. You long to be there for him, but chances are he’s put up a formidable wall of silence, leaving you wondering how to break through.

In What Your Son Isn’t Telling You, teen experts Michael Ross and Susie Shellenberger offer a rare glimpse into the secret lives of teen boys–behind-the-scenes footage you might miss in the day-to-day life of your son–accompanied by practical advice on how to provide the support and connection your son desperately needs.

Packed with real-life stories and emails from teen guys, this must-read will give you a new understanding of what your son isn’t telling you.

I received a review copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.  Grab yourself a copy or download it for your kindle.

Since I have one son and one daughter, I was curious to see if there was a ‘daughter’ version of this book.  I hopped online and found it!  I’m ordering a copy as we speak!
