The Beginner’s Gospel Story Bible

It is my goal to spend more time with my youngest reading God’s word than I did with the older two. Yes, I need to allow God’s grace and forgiveness for lost intentions. However, I still want my child to have a strong foundation of who God is before the world starts having an influence on him.

Sitting with my youngest reading a complimentary copy of the book below, I have really been blessed to find a quality book that shares the gospel in a way that little ones can understand.

There are 52 stories. You could easily read one each week, building the rest of the week on that story. As a homeschool mom, I have ideas for centering our lessons around each story. Praise God for the creative ideas!

The stories are short enough to keep the attention of my busy boy. Each story ends with a question and how the story relates to your child now. For example, one question is about not obeying and how we can be stubborn like the Pharaoh.

I know my son’s mind is working when I ask him the questions. While he may not always answer, I know he is hearing and understanding at his level. Even this mom has been convicted by a few of the questions.  God works at all levels, my friend!

The illustrations are quite bold and appealing to the eye, for both the reader and the little one.

The story being short is key. I know bible study for kids can be tiresome, so if you give them aspects that are written at their level, and in bite sized chucks, they will get the message.
