I just read a beautifully written and illustrated book by Ruth Chou Simons.
While my son is not into anything beautiful, he did enjoy the book, especially since there is a child and dog featured in the illustrations. We have been reading more and more from the Bible. Psalms isn’t a book we read from often, so this book was a nice introduction to it. Based on Psalm 23, this book is also a reminder to me how God is with me as His daughter and a as parent to my children ranging from ages 11 to 27.
It’s definitely a book we will leave out on the coffee table to be enjoyed by ourselves and visiting grandkids.
I will be checking out her Bible studies after finding delight in this children’s book. Thanks to Front Gate Media for the opportunity to read this book to my youngest child and four grandchildren.
