This Mom’s Review of “100 Ways to Love Your Husband”

Saying nice things to your husband is a big task, even after 24 years of marriage. Never will I have this thing called marriage perfected, but we can make improvements along the way, right? In the courtesy copy I received from the publisher, I have found some ways to build my husband up and help him feel appreciated and loved, even when I’m not feeling it, simply by speaking these affirmations.  There are probably a handful of affirmations that my husband would laugh at, but there are so many that would be just what he needed to hear.

Each one is bite-size, providing you a way to communicate love to your husband each and every day. Open the book and pick one to use. You can call him, text him or speak to him from across the room.

I admit some of these will be hard to say. For example, I’d have a hard time saying “I’ll go wherever you go.” I have my reasons, yet, it makes me consider how strong my commitment to my marriage really is. Whether you can say all of these or not, it’s a great way to also reflect on your marriage and your commitment to it.

I encourage every wife, whether new or seasoned, to pick up a copy of this book. I’d love to know what you think of the book once you start reading it.  How are you doing? Do you say words of affirmation to your husband?
