My son is different. Sometimes other kids show it in their behavior toward him. My son notices. I don’t want him growing up thinking something is wrong with him. Reading this book, I was able to express to him the joy that can be found in his uniqueness. I want him to know how much God (and his parents) love him. This complimentary book from the publisher does a wonderful job of reminding my son of just that.
The book also touches on our beautiful destination called heaven. We have talked a lot about heaven because my son’s grandfather, who passed before he was born, is someone we want our son to know regardless of his current residing place. The book ends with the reminder to both parent and child that heaven is our final destination and we will all be there together. I have found this to be an ideal time to my child about his opportunity to be with Jesus and his loved ones through the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
While I haven’t read all of Max Lucado’s books, I have not been disappointed with any of the adult and children’s books I’ve read so far.
